eBusiness UK scores two awards

Here at eBusiness UK we are celebrating after picking up our first and second ever awards - just months apart.

Excellence

We are currently the top ‘IT and Digital Media company’ in Lancashire, thanks to an awards ceremony organised by local newspaper Lancashire Telegraph.

Kevin Young, the newspaper’s editor, said that we stood out amongst the 15 nominees at an early stage, and that the company was very deserving of the award.

“The ‘e’ in eBusiness could easily stand for ‘excellent’,” said Kevin. “The quality of entrants this year was higher than ever.”

Outstanding

And no sooner had we found a spot on our shelf to display the cut-glass trophy than it had company in the form of a Big Chip Ten award for ‘Best Use of Search’.

At a glittering ceremony hosted by Terry Christian and attended by 500 guests, we were judged to have produced the most outstanding online marketing project, thanks to our search engine optimisation techniques.

Pride

Kam Kothia said: “We are very proud of the awards. They are great for the company and a reflection on the efforts of our staff.

“And also Big Chip is an important brand in our industry, so to take the award home to East Lancashire ahead of all the city-based agencies which usually dominate is a feather in our cap.”
